
The OHS Assistant is an entry level position into the discipline. This occupation will serve as a platform for further learning. The OHS Assistant aids with the fundamental administration and monitoring functions within the OHS function and it enables the incumbent to gain fundamental knowledge, skills and experience in the field.
A qualified learner will be able to:
- Maintain appropriate OHS document management systems.
- Execute the basic administrative duties required for the management of OHS meetings.
- Apply basic data analysis and compile basic OHS reports using standard reporting formats.
